Abstract

This study explores the potential of the Mező’s OxIPO model from the perspective of music skill development and music education. All the components of the model can be applied in music education, as music learning can be successful by activating and consciously developing the same skills as in any other learning activity. The article uses a concrete example of a song to illustrate the development opportunities in the phases of the OxIPO model.
